About M

My coach training began unofficially in 1980 when I led a team of 30 sales consultants to the winner’s circle.  Although it wasn’t called coaching, the skills were the same: supporting, listening, encouraging, and inspiring others to reach their full potential. Drawing on my deep well of experience as a Professional Speaker, Behavioral Analyst, Entrepreneur, Image Consultant, Sales Director, Wife, and Mother, I authored and taught Life Skills—a twelve-week course for women in transition. A modified version was presented to a select group of women at a Massachusetts correctional facility. It was on-the-job training at its best—a phenomenal experience!

In 2000, I was certified as a Professional Behavioral Analyst with Target Training International using the DISC behavioral profile. Today, I offer a training program for coaches, entrepreneurs, and small businesses who want to use DISC with their clients. After graduating and receiving my certification from The Institute for Life Coach Training in 2001 it was clear that coaching is my passion and purpose.  It’s what I do.  It’s what I love!

My training continued with the Graduate School of Coaching and Thomas Leonard, who was considered by many to be the grandfather of coaching.

I had the pleasure to chair the first Christian Coaches Conference in Virginia in 2003 and again in Seattle in 2004. In 2003, I completed Dr. Frank Lawlis’ series based on Dr. Phil’s best selling books: Life Strategies, Self-Matters, and The Ultimate Weight Loss Solution.

F.I.T. for the King
, a Christian based exercise program, was conceived from a personal interest in wellness. It’s my own fail-proof environment guaranteeing regular workouts.

In 2007, I received my Christian Coach Certification from the Christian Coaches Network, and now serve on the advisory board.

My coaching style is honest, straightforward, and direct, and I always keep the client’s best interest in mind.

Since each client and situation is unique, I offer clients the option of pure coaching, a combination of coaching and consulting, or consulting only. It depends on the circumstances and individual clients.
